ORIGINS: The relationship of mankind

Notes:

The Langmann portion of this genealogical tree is dedicated to my father, Richard Robert Langmann who taught me the importance of family and got me started on collecting the historical material many years ago ... and to all those who went before him.
Notes (in old German) about the Langmann family

The Buelows are our family connection to royalty and thereby to most of the ruling houses of Europe and further through them - back into history - to the Holy Roman Empire, the Frankish Merovingians and Ancient Rome.

They are all there: the Carolingians starting with Carolus Magnus or Charlemagne (742-814), the ancient kings of Denmark, Sweden and Norway following the thread of Saxo Grammaticus (1150-1220) as outlined in his 'Gesta Danorum', the murderous Merovingians the way they were chronicled by the mediaeval scribes, the Roman Caesars, and the Greek Ptolemy dynasty of Egypt more than 2000 years ago. Also, along the way, we meet members of other royal houses, England, Scotland, France, Poland, Russia, Spain and Portugal.

This is the first ever publication of 'ORIGINS: The relationship of Mankind' or a Personal History of the World, but the work is not finished. The 'tree' will be updated regularly on the World Wide Web - at least once every six months. In particular, more detailed individual notes will appear in future editions.
